Canada’s Links to the World

This resource includes a wide variety of skill-based activities that engage students in learning about our interactions with the rest of the world. Some of the topics covered include: imports and exports, media, immigration, world organizations, peacekeeping, the environment, and tourism. In depth coverage of the United States, and several other countries around the world is provided. Communication, mapping, graphing, analysis and critical thinking, and research skills are utilized to maintain student interest. The influence of the world on Canada is rich and intriguing subject; and how Canada influences others is a delightful reminder of what being Canadian means.
