Exploring Creation with Botany Textbook

Apologia’s Young Explorer Series is a Charlotte-Mason style course using a notebooking journal (sold-separately) to have students explain in their own words what they’re learning. . . which also helps with memory retention! In addition to the written notes, mini-book (lap-style) activities, and vocabulary-building exercises in the Notebooking Journals, students will also create their own Nature Journal to take with them as they go outside to explore, study, and document the wonderful world of plants and fungi.

In this text, students will learn about seeds, pollination, fruits, leaves, roots, taxonomy, and stems, and most importantly, why botany matters. Plus, students will build and use their own light hut to help them study the life cycle of different types of plants throughout the year!
