Learning Commons Newsletter

This week in the LC:

Dear families,

The school year is winding down, and books are being returned. Thank you for your diligence in checking return dates on your items and following the shipment procedures. We so appreciate your patronage. We hope your students will keep reading throughout the summer, and our statistics show that many of our students are reading eBooks or Audiobooks for an average of 80 minutes a day!  Woohoo!  Let’s keep the reading going with our Sora Sweet Reads summer challenge, which begins on May 12 and runs through mid-August.

Announcements & Reminders

  • If you are not returning to HCOS, all items need to be returned to the Learning Commons by June 23rd, 2025. If you have reenrolled for the next school year, you can book items over the summer and make advanced bookings for the next school year. If you are newly enrolled for 2025/26, you will be given access to the Learning Commons in early August.
