The primary focus of RS1 Level D is multiplication facts and multiplication of a 4-digit number by a 1-digit number along with simple division. Addition and subtraction of 4-digit numbers is reviewed. Other topics include addition of simple fractions, numbers to one million, basic data and probability, linear and square units, and measurement in both the US and metric systems. They explore area, symmetry, patterns, and geometric shapes using a drawing board and tools. Transition lessons are included for those new to the program.
